I've done this a few times and thought it would be bad to break tradition, so wanted to create a thread for people to discuss their preorders etc as we all wait for our new iPhones.

So confused, never received second order number only the XKO, 4 advisor said the order confirmed for Friday. Really don’t get why one person has one process other has different. I have a feeling I won’t be getting phone on Friday.

@Akossg The XKO is the order number. All orders are processed the same. Just because someone has received a tracking number already doesn’t mean you’ll not get one before Friday. It’s only Tuesday. And a pre order doesn’t mean you’ll get the device on launch day. EE will receive so many devices and I can bet they’ll receive more orders than what they receive in.

See I’ve had a “confirmation: your order is on the way” email and a thank you for upgrading text, I’ve got an order number from the online chat team, but when I go to track is says I “can’t track this order type yet”
bit concerned I won’t get it Friday

That was the whole point of the ordering because EE advertised to launch day delivery and when I placed the order was still saying for launch day, I appreciate the fact there’s only so much stock but don’t let people order and “promise” launch day delivery and after just be like “oh well sorry”. Guess wait and see yeah only Tuesday but alarming still no update and can’t track the order.

😞 That's a wee bit more worrying then! As I defo only have a text confirmation.
I wonder if, maybe.... the ones that ordered early enough have had emails as they can fulfil those now and those who maybe didn't get through quick enough (me!), only have a text so far as they already know there i no way we're getting ours this weeks or even next!? 😞
I know I'll get it eventually but we all want them now LOL

I never actually got the tracking number through on an email. Pre ordered through ringing up, someone kindly pre ordered over the phone, I looked at all the documents etc. Rang up and double checked about a tracking number yesterday but apparently that won't come from EE. Does that sound right?

My theory is they are prioritising Pro Max first as you can see the delivery dates for Pro Max have slipped.
Although Pro's are still showing Expect on Launch Day.

After a few phone calls with unhelpful staff, I finally got through to someone who actually looked into my order instead of just saying the scripted stuff.
it turns out my order got stuck in the system, so he gave it a little nudge and I finally have the 002 number.
anyone who has only received their xko number and nothing more, it may be worth ringing CS and getting them to double check to see if the order is stuck in the system as mine was.
