I phone battery drain

Hi, has any one experienced iPhone battery drain since joining EE ?

I was transferred over from Plusnet just over a month ago and have noticed the battery on my iPhone 6s does not last half as long as it use to, checked the battery use and condition and all looks normal with a battery condition of 90%. My wife has the same phone and has experienced the same issue. The battery drain appears to be worse over night when not in use , and no app’s running in the background.

Any ideas much appreciated

Hi everyone, after being told to reset ect & that there was nothing wrong with the network Apple replied that they thought is was a network fault. So went to Curry’s & got a sim card & put it in the phone, problem solved so switched SIM cards & problem migrated to other phone.
Since then I often get messages from E E saying that there’s a fault in my area.& they are fixing it.
Thanks

If your iPhone’s battery is draining faster than you'd like, I totally get how annoying that can be. There’s no magical fix-all, but there are definitely a few things you can try that, when combined, usually make a big difference.

First off, if you’ve recently updated your iPhone, sometimes a new iOS update can cause a temporary spike in battery usage. Right after the update, your phone is busy in the background reindexing files, photos, apps, and whatnot. So if this started happening after an update, give it a couple of days and see if things settle down.

Now, let’s talk about background activity. A lot of apps run in the background, using up juice even when you’re not actively using them. You can go into your settings and take a look at Battery Usage to see which apps are the worst culprits. If you notice certain apps using way more battery than they should, you can go into Settings, and tweak things like Background App Refresh or Location Services to prevent them from running when they don’t need to. It’s worth turning off background refresh for apps that you don’t need constantly updating.

Screen brightness is another sneaky battery drainer. If you have your screen set to maximum brightness all the time, it’s going to burn through your battery. Try setting your phone to auto-brightness, which adjusts the screen based on the lighting conditions around you, or just manually lower it. It might seem small, but over time, it makes a big difference.

If you have problem persist after trying these solution, you can follow for more details assistance below.

Could be something to do with signal?  As I know having no service can have an impact on your battery.

Hi,
According to Apple yes it can as the phone keeps trying to connect when the signal drops. As I found by using another network SIM card the problem went away on my I phone11,but putting the EE SIM card into my spare I phone 7 caused that phone battery to drain which had never had a problem with its old SIM card.
On another note I have had on my phone 10 messages relating to problems or maintenance from EE in my area between 28th July & 8th September (not including messages saying the issues are fixed)
