Hey there @alistairmck1

Welcome back to the Community 😊

It's awesome to hear you've gone for the Watch Ultra 2 as well, I've had mine for almost a year now, but the new Black version does look really sharp!

When you set up your new watch, it should prompt you to transfer your cellular plan as part of this, but occasionally you will need to speak with our team to confirm a few details as part of this.

We've had a thread here on the Community that gives a really nice breakdown of how all this works, which you can check out below:

Hi, @Peter_W  thanks for quick reply,   so if I’m changing iPhone but not Apple Watch I follow each step besides calling EE and changing EID number as I’ll be still same number? I don’t get my new watch between 27th and 02 Oct but get my new iPhone today.

thanks again

Hi @alistairmck1

The steps for pairing your new iPhone to your old Apple Watch can be found below or by visiting this Apple Watch Help Page.

  1. Erase your Apple Watch.
  2. Set up your new iPhone and sign in to iCloud. ...
  3. Open the Apple Watch app on your new iPhone, then pair your watch with your new iPhone.
  4. Try to restore from a backup. ...
  5. Follow the onscreen steps to finish setting up.
  6. Start using your Apple Watch with your new iPhone
