EE LYING!!!! about IPhone 16 PM Upgrade

Luke872

So let’s start the day……I’m patiently waiting round like a true Apple geek to add the IPhone 16 PM to my line up….i join the queue at 13:00 it’s 5 minutes, I’ve completed my order by approximately 13:08. All done new phone on the way……or not as the case may be. Get an email 14:30 we need more information. Oh no **bleep** what’s happened here. So I ring up spend an hour and 56 minutes on hold eventually get through to someone who has to ring me back because the line is so bad. It turns out EE system F Ed up and gave me too much discount….yeh that’s fine I’ll spend another hour and a half on the phone setting up broadband with you because it’s cheaper and makes my contract cheaper Ofcourse I will. Get to the end and I haven’t changed my bank to my new address so can’t continue with the phone order…..but ok for broadband? I ask for a call back the next morning at 9 am which never comes. I phone up again around 13:00 on the Saturday. Make another order and was told there is NO DELAYS and it will be out for delivery once released. So far I’ve received no estimate of delivery. The chat is pointless because after the first sentence the staff give up bothering to help and basically it’s a sh.t show at the minute, so I’ve got broadband……no phone spending plenty of money but no one can be **bleep**d to bother talking to me……oh and they’ve added accessories on…….the main point in my head is if I did an order so soon and was allocated a phone surely then where is it.
thanks for any help

rant over sorry it was a long one. Just extremely dissatisfied with EE right now and want to just cancel everything. 😭😭

Oh I know, more of a rant and to see if anyone else was in the same boat. I’ve already complained…..probably won’t listen to that either. Ombudsman it is then

Hi @Luke872

Anyone who has not changed their address to the one that matches your bank will yes the same issue. For security and for the credit purposes.

Hold times are about right for peak times especially with a new Apple device. Delivery is subject to device spec and stock, same as every seller every Apple release.

Thanks
