I’ve had my EE tv for a few weeks, everytime it goes in to standby mode it comes back on with no information available for channels I reset it and it works everytime once reset but takes a while to come back on, I’m using the Ethernet cable so it’s a direct link, it’s super frustrating having to reset everytime it turns off, any ideas ??

In post 06/10/24 you asked "Which Standby Mode have you got it in? so I replied SMART but I still cannot control the TV volume from the remote?

Ah, OK, glad you expanded that, as this has been a thread about the box taking a long time to get ready when powering up - which SMART mode seems to have fixed for the OP - and not about TV volume control from the remote, which SMART mode would have no bearing on.
So - what make and model of TV do you have, and what model of EETV box?

Sorry MV, should I open another thread?

No worries 😛
So a Box Pro and a 2020 Samsung TV. Should be a match made in heaven.
First off, Settings (the little gear wheel top right on the Home screen of the box) Picture & Sound, HDMI Sound.
Note and report if this is Stereo or Surround.
Then Settings, Bluetooth Remote.
Connection Status - is this ‘Connected’? If not, report back now, as we will need to go back a couple of steps.
But if it is, then:-
Control Volume and Source - is this TV? If it is Set Top Box, change it to TV.
Now things should work. Do they?
Let me know and we’ll proceed accordingly.

That did the job MV, many thanks. The Control Volume and Source - is this TV? If it is Set Top Box, change it to TV was set to Set Top Box. Changed to TV and bingo!!
Many thanks.
