TV Box Mini to tv SCART sockets.

Hi

I want to connect my TV Box Mini to my bedroom TV bit it only has Scart sockets.   I have looked at HDMI to Scart converters but will these work with TV Box Mini?  How can I do this please.

Hi

Well I tried what you suggested today .  The frame match was already turned off.  I changed the frame rate to 720p which was the lowest setting and the food news is it all worked on my old Panasonic bedroom TV.   I  really appreciate your help ......your a star.  I might and change the setting to 1080i and see if that works as that might improve the picture, although it's excellent as it is.

Excellent! You might want to mark my posting as a solution, in case anyone has the same issue in the future - it will guide them to the answer.

@DarrenDev  This might need looking at - my unreliable recollection is that YouView boxes, confronted with a TV that couldn’t handle the resolution in Settings, would back off to lower resolutions until it found one the TV could handle.

That doesn’t seem to have happened here. Is my recollection faulty, or is it that maybe the box couldn’t negotiate with such an old TV, or what?
