I recently moved my broadband and TV package from BT to EE. It’s been a nightmarish experience (and I know there are lots of customers with similar horror stories). I’ve spent countless hours on the phone to BT/EE and had to submit many complaints. I’m slowly finding solutions (without much help from BT/EE, TBH).
One issue I’ve not yet solved relates to the TV players (iPlayer, ITVX, C4) and Netflix. All worked perfectly fine on BT. Now, on EE I get a YVM 105 error message for the players, and NW-4-7 error message for Netflix.
I’ve followed all the resolution guidance on BT.com, but those steps have not fixed the issues.
advice as to how to resolve this would be much appreciated.

Sorry for the delay in responding. Is this still an issue for you?

took some time, but it was eventually fixed last week by an EE Engineer

I'm getting the same problem what did the engineer do?

In the end it was a simple fix, but it took forever for EE to find it. The issue was about parental controls. Mine were stuck/ kept defaulting to strict. The solution was:
- in the EE App go to Manage > Broadband
- scroll down to Groups >click on Grouped (or ungrouped) devices
- scroll down to device settings > shift parental controls to Off
That's a fix if you're happy to turn Parental Controls off. I don't know what you do if you need them set to any other level
