I am reaching the end of my tether with EE TV, IPC6023 keeps coming up on our TV, it’s fine for a month or so (hasn’t happened enough for us to identify the amount of time in between it happening) but we have to keep resetting our hub to factory and then it’s fine for a month or so.
We shouldn’t have to keep doing this, if I called 150 their response would be a reset solves the issue so that’s the resolution but due to how poorly the L1 support system is structured nobody knows how to address or support recurring issues. If they escalated to L2 they would complain as the issue isn’t currently occurring so what am I supposed to do?
The only different configuration is that we have DHCP turned off and have our own DHCP server, the TV box works fine on Netflix, iPlayer, Apple TV & YouTube so it’s not that the box isn’t connected to the internet it’s some sort of configuration between the hub and TV Box. EE Must be the most untechnical tech company I know.

As a technical person, you will understand the implications of multicast, which is how the live channels are delivered (300 upwards in Aerial Mode, 1 upwards in IP Mode) and IPC6023 is the error message you get when it stops working.
EETV will tell you that if you let the supplied router do the DCHP, then the errors should stop; and if they don’t, EETV will investigate.
But if you are using any third-party equipment, they will politely decline to support this; and I would imagine that your DHCP server is just such a piece of kit. And you have your own special reasons why regular DHCP on the EETV device won’t do…
Not that EETV mind you using it, but you have to get it working with multicast for yourself, or possibly with some help from one or two of the customer experts on here.
I know just about enough to mutter ‘IGMP snooping’, and hope this is a clue you can use.
But if not, come back with a more detailed description of your third-party kit, model numbers, who made it, etc., and we can hopefully rally some experts for you.
