Just moved my contract from BT broadband & BT TV to EE  broadband & TV , have set up the TV boxes but GB news is not listed in the TV guide, can/how do I get this? Are there other TV channels that I will no longer be able to receive on EE TV & why?

If you connect your aerial and then factory reset the TV Box Pro, it'll use that for Freeview and then the internet for subscription channels.

The TV Box Mini only offers the internet mode though I'm afraid.

If you have a TV Box Pro and connect your TV aerial then you'll be able to receive all the same channels as before.

If you remain in internet mode (the only option for the TV Box Mini) then you'll get a subset of channels, as listed here: https://ee.co.uk/help/tv-sport/manage-use/channel-guide

There's a GB News app with live stream under the apps when you press the home button on your remote. The app is at the end of the selection.

Also just an observation, the amount of free to air IP channels on EE isn't great at the moment when compared to the amount potentially available

Hi, thanks for reply; since getting the EE kit, I now understand EE TV is primarily a streaming service! I'm also aware I can switch to a terrestrial aerial (which is still connected) but I didn't expect my switch from BT TV would give less free to air channels on EE or have to faf about changing the source!

Hi, thanks; wish I'd known that before switching from BT!

Hi again weerab2024, thanks that seems to work OK so will do me for now. Forum "Helpful" button doesn't seem to be working!

The number of channels hasn't changed between BT TV and EE TV. The difference is just how you've chosen to connect it.

Hi thanks; My BT box was connected to both internet & terrestrial aerial so if I also connect my aerial to the TV box Pro, will it also download/store those channels as well? Or is it only one or the other? What about the TV box Mini, it doesn't have an aerial socket?
