I had a new Router from EE about 12 months ago, did not use it as I did not want to change all my devices logins I am thinking of going to FF so would have to use the new router

After a lot of research I decided to "bite the bullet"

Changed all the settings to compatible WiFi, Wap2/ 3 etc accepted insecure password and everything works except my cctv cameras, 3 in total

I have now spent 2 days and they will NOT connect to the system except the Guest WiFi

Is it OK to leave them on this and why

@Mike11 Why did you not just change the ssid, wifi password and the admin password from your old to the new hub. Why do you have to go to the new hub for a full fibre connection, is it because of landline DV which the old hub does not support with an ATA phone connection. You are not making that clear, post your old hub model to the new type that may help.

Surprised that guest is the only way to connect those devices, would have thought WPA2-Personal on the Comp network would have got them fine.

I did, I copied everything over, I doubled checked for spaces etc. I also have Growatt batteries on the Shine APP  and they keep dropping out for a couple of hours and then picking up again  The old hub was a BT HH2, when I renewed my contract they moved me from BT to EE and  sent me the EE hub and said it would be better, I explained I was a bit concerned about all the trouble of changing over and tgey let me keep the old BT hub and change over later

I have also noticed that a couple of my cameras that were directly connected with Ethernet cables won't work now

I even tried running the old BT hub as a slave alongside   the new EE  hub but it looks like the EE  won't let anything through

@Mike11 Take a look at the BT hubs below, Think you may be talking about a BT Smart Hub 2, there is no HH2.
