I signed up for EE broadband on the 14th of July and was given an initial install date of the 3rd of August. An engineer arrived on the 3rd but said he couldn't do it and just left with no explanation! I then received another engineer appointment for the 17th of August, this engineer arrived and actually installed the equipment on the inside of the house but said "there was a problem with the pole outside, but not to worry as it will be sorted the very next day". Since then i have received endless emails from EE about how they are fixing the problem but it will be another 10 days! 7 emails later delaying the install and it's currently the 6th of Ocotber and i still have no broadband! I decided to make the switch from Sky as EE were supposed to be faster and cheaper, so far i think it's pathetic and their customer service is a JOKE!
AVOID EE AT ALL COSTS!

EE will be waiting on openreach to fix an issue which btw would happen with any provider, all you can do is call & see what the hold up is

@DavidWinspear Are you in a Fibre only area now, if so the switch would happen when fibre is all done, but you should still have your sky Broadband connection up and working until EE get's you transferred to them. Is this not the case? OTS switching keeps the old provider up and working until then, sometimes that fails or the customer does the call and cancels the old ISP.
