Fibre Optic (fed up with EE?)

Hi I was told I would have fibre optic by August and it’s nearly October, yet I’m still paying expensive broadband prices.

Is anyone else fed up with this?
I’m told by engineers one thing but nothing materialises. I live in SW6. Living in London, UK with the slowest broadband in Europe has become a joke.

@sebsebseb Who told you by August? You can use the two online guides linked below that may help you.

It's all down to OR. EE can't supply Full Fibre until OR make it available to ISPs. What does Openreach Full Fibre Availability Checker  say?

What does BT Wholesale Broadband Availability Checker > Address Checker estimate for your address? Post the whole table, the text below it and the line above it, blanking out your address.

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Home Broadband & Home Phone or Option 2 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband

ISPs: 1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up > 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB > 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB > 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU > 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU > 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC > 2014: EE 20 Meg WBC > 2020: EE 40 Meg FTTC > 2022:EE 80 Meg FTTC SoGEA > 2025 EE 150 Meg FTTP

My EE Engineer told me. He was doing a speed check as my internet line faults regularly and goes under the required speed for downloading windows updates and for gaming. I asked if other neighbours using broadband on copper wire broadband made a difference and he called this ‘speed throttling ‘. He said EE does not do this and we would get broadband before the following month for a no fee upgrade.
I’m still waiting.

Hey I even said in my first comment who told me. Did you read what i wrote?

the weblink says:

We're planning to build in this area. Looks like the plan to build hasn’t even started.
Why am I paying almost £40 broadband for non-fibre optic?

You'll be paying for what you agreed too! FWIW it sounds like the engineer just said what you wanted to hear as you were not accepting anything they were saying

That's an assumption on your part. He lives down the road from me and his fibre optic was connected earlier this year. But you go ahead and troll others online, whilst being helpful Gary BS. We know what the BS stands for.

@sebsebseb Good luck with it all, one off these day's they might get around to you.

@sebsebseb   So take it up with the person who told you this they gave you this information.  You’ve not been told anything by EE when you can have it.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 07953 966 150 from any other phone.
