Busiest Home 1.6Gb with BT TV Package

Just tried to order Busiest Home Broadband, with BT TV, but was told that the system cannot support ordering the two together - anyone else verify this? You can order Busiest Home as broadband only, or order BT TV and a lower broadband package but with no guarantee it can be upgraded in future. Anyone else had this?

Ok. That’s interesting and feels like something that could be solved quickly. An ETA would be brilliant - or even a work around - so that customers like me avoid locking in to a multi year deal with someone else.

@DarrenDev More than 6 months after launch the ordering systems are incompatible and some of us still can't enjoy the full 1.6Gb service because WiFi Controls still don't work! I'm curious whether EE have their own IT team or outsource their systems? Either way, I have to say that your systems engineering is appalling. I worked in IT for 25 years and would have been embarrassed if any problem took 6 months to resolve.

Yeah its embarrassing the fact that after all this time they still are unable to at least catch the errors that are clearly getting raised in the background and show a better message than a technical error has occurred along with a phone number. They can't even work out the fact I am a legacy EE broadband customer to not show me adverts in My EE for the  £10 unlimited sims I can't get as I'm not on new EE.

Hi Darren,

Any news of this arriving soon? My contract with Virgin expires 2nd October but would ideally like to upgrade to 1.6gbps with TV and take advantage of the switching fee's being covered by EE.

If its coming soon I can hold off till September/October to order a 1.6gbps with TV bundle but if not I may just order and switch now. Would hate not to be able to upgrade speeds in the future though and be stuck with 900mbps

Any updates. Or still are we unable to order?

No updates. No expectations can currently be set.

Thanks Darren.

Im in the same situation really.

I want to migrate from BT to EE to get the Busiest Home Bundle but even though its available in my area I can't currently go on that package as I have BT/EE TV and switching from BT to EE on a 900mbps package and paying the add on fee for the Wifi 7 router in the hopes the issues preventing ordering if you have a landline or TV get resolved quickly would make it cost a fair bit more than i'm currently paying

Hopefully it wont take too much longer for whatever is preventing TV or DV on the package to be resolved

Hi DarrenDev

Would this also apply re the Hybrid connect, as I cannot find any information about this being an option? As without this as an option, plus the the Digital Home Phone, as it stands is not a viable upgrade to the 1.6gb service at this point in time!

Thanks to OP for asking this question. Was just looking at this as an option myself. Would have signed up if this had been an option.

Obviously I don't know what's going on in the background but from a customer perspective this just seems crazy. Surely when EE launched the new ordering system someone, somewhere would have been expected to look at how they would onboard legacy and new products to the new system?
