was i scammed

i had a call from 0191 429 7590. it came up saying it was EE from Newcastle. he sent me a pin which came from EE.

was it a scam please?

0191 429 7590 This number called me today about some offers and also he could see the account that I have with EE and for how long as well, he could access my address and everything, he sent me a code via text message from EE on the same way that I receive notifications from them. Could have been a scam? What can they do with the information that they take from my EE account? I changed my password straight away on the account but now I am getting worried as I think it might have been scam.
