This alone is good evidence of the contact being from EE - the use of the ee.co.uk website domain. If it came from anything_you_like@bt.com, the same theory would apply
07973 100601 is also a genuine EE outbound number - there's a recorded announcement if you call it.

I have just had a missed call from this number, yesterday I missed a call (my phone is on silent due to work), said it's from EE Guide Calling. Strange how they are calling after I looked up my plan in my account, if I was still in contract, etc. If. I wanted to speak to EE, I would contact them

Hi @ZBD412
If you'd like to adjust your marketing preferences you can do so by visiting our Privacy Policy page for more information.
Under the heading "Your Rights" open 'How do I make a request?'
Then click on the Online Form to request the change
Alternatively you can call 150 where the Customer Service team can change it for you.

Still going on, lady convincingly knew I'd submitted a leave request, came up as EE support.
How do they know, it's not marketing, unless our details are being sold

It will be "still going on" - the number being discussed in this thread is a genuine EE outbound number.
Sounds like "EE Support" is the business-caller-ID service doing its job.
