Text message from 1111 saying it is EE with an offer - genuine?

I have had a text message from 1111 saying it is EE offering me free EU data roaming for being a loyal cystomer? It asks me to reply 'YES' to accept the offer by 26th March.  

Is this legitimate or some sort of scam?

Yes i'ts showing up in the addons. Do I still have to let ee know I'm abroad.

Yes, please text ROAMING to 150 before travelling to make sure you have full roaming access 🙂
