had calls from all these numbers today saying they’re from EE and offering a 40% discount promotion, when they asked how much my last bill was, and since they were all Indian voices, I hung up; assuming it was fraud. When I searched the numbers through my HIYA security app, they were all landlines apparently from cafes! I’ve blocked all the numbers, but there’s obviously a big scam doing the rounds! They must have hijacked some dormant landline numbers I’d think.
Solved! See the answer below or view the solution in context.

Hello @Katie_B
Thank you for the response. I just received another call from them again via whatsapp 07988579117.
They were "following up" the fake gift they are pretending to send me.
They were asking for DPD courier details. I checked the DPD courier site, and there is no parcel dispatched to my address.
I'm not sure what angle they are playing now. I think they are fishing for my email details after EE fraud team blocked them.
I played dumb and strung them along, to try and get more information out of them.
I'll report the call, but I just want to make sure they haven't used my details for any fraudulent acts. My card has been cancelled, so they can't use my bank details.

Thanks for getting back to me @MrE1.
I am sorry to hear this is still happening.
I would recommend reporting any new numbers you see.

When "EE fraud detection" rang you, did you speak to them or did you call EE back? Even if it is the EE fraud team, it's better to hang up and call EE on a known number to discuss it, just in case.

Good point @chistery . They seemed legit, as they swiftly recommended I cancel my bank card. However I keep having to update my password as Login, so I don't know if there is some larger issues that need to be ironed out with the fraudsters tampering with my account.
@Katie_B Is there a direct fraud number or email I can contact to verify this? Edit: Not to worry I've just called the fraud team on 150, and confirmed they are still assessing my profile to make sure the fraudster are no longer a threat.

Hi @MrE1
It would be best to report the call to be investigated at Report a scam call | Help, as there isn't a direct email or number for the team.
However you have done the right thing to contact Customer Service directly, as they're able to raise an internal form to the team with all the details, too.
Thanks for keeping us updated with this.

Hello @Ali_A
Seems to be ongoing. I get SMS text when the fraudster tries to access my account. I've contacted EE support. There is a fraud email trying to access my account. I've had it removed, and my bank card has been cancelled.
What is the best way to put an end to this? Do I need to change my email? I have a business account I can use if possible.
[Mod Edit: email removed]

@MrE1
Are you receiving emails asking to change the registered email for your online access, or are they emails to add an authorised user to the online account?
