I keep seeing people having issues getting this lock removed constantly. Even people I've talked to in person. As I wanted to try out the network I wanted the content lock removed, so I've been in the store to try and get this content lock removed, and it still isn't gone. Going to go back in tomorrow and If it still isn't removed I'm going back to GiffGaff. They removed the lock within 5 seconds because they give the option to provide ID in the app. EE doesn't seem like the "best network" so far.

Welcome to the community.

If the store guides removed the content lock from your account, it should update within 24 hours. Hopefully it's lifted soon for you.
