Content Lock Removal

MitchellCrees
Visitor

I am trying to remove the content locking restrictions from my phone, yet I have found the process to be ridiculously hard to do and not user friendly in the slightest.

I have tried looking on the EE website and communities for help, but nothing they have provided actually works. I am on not on a contract plan, so I am therefore seemingly unable to verify my age online or on the app. Despite setting up verification ID on the EE app, which involved sending a copy of my ID!

When I call up on the various numbers listed, I am taken to an automated line which requires me to use a credit card to verify my age. I only have debit cards available so this service is redundant.

You cannot speak to an actual customer service person to help with this, which means the only option I have left is to physically go in store, and my local store in nowhere near where I live.

I've found the whole process to be tedious and overly complicated when I have literally sent verification of my passport, and there is no option to do so online.

EE need to fix their user interface.

On PAYG & not having any credit card you can only visit an EE store with some photo ID to remove content lock. Unfortunately having a Verified EE ID doesn't help.

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.
