Scam calls offering 40% discount

I had a call today from this number offering me discount on my EE bill -

07493657920

I thought it was genuine and gave my full name/DOB and home address.  Is it a scam? 

They mentioned that they will send the papers of the new contract and activation code by courier!

This number is not an EE number or listed on our Numbers EE partners will call from page, please report the call using the Report a scam call form. 

If you provided any passwords including EE details for your account, please change these to stay safe and contact your bank if any payment details were provided.
