A number from Ukraine was invading my privacy on my EE network ( mobile) .The case has been reported to the police as even my gov account was compromised. How does EE allow this third party networks to freely invade customer's accounts ? It seems like someone must be facilitating the lack of cyber security. This is a very  serious issue very possibly affecting other clients that could well be unaware of the situation.

Hi @Jules1209,

Thanks for letting us know a little more about what has been happening.

We would recommend changing your passwords on any websites that you've noticed changes on. If you are having trouble with the apps after doing this then it may be worth deleting the app and reinstalling it.

It might also be worth checking out our Cyber Security add on, as this can help you to protect yourself.

Hi @Jules1209

if someone has obtained your details in 99% of cases this is poor person security/password approach and  online activity, using public WiFi etc. Government gateway can be linked to an authenticator app if this is what you are referring.

You should check your email here: https://haveibeenpwned.com/

Thanks

I DO NOT USE PUBLIC WIFI AS I HAVE UNLIMITED MOBILE DATA. THIS IS
DEFINITELY AN INSIDE JOB TO BE INVESTIGATED.

Good morning @Jules1209.

Welcome back to the Community.

So we're able to recommend the best course of action to support you with this one, can you please let us know some more information about what specifically has happened here?

You mention hacking and privacy concerns, but how exactly have you been affected?

Peter

Sure. Thanks for asking.
Meta apps and other apps such as Spareroom, Latam airlines not functioning
as they supposed to is one of the issues. LinkedIn account hacked etc.
Zero payments on UC account for a few months was another issue,
I have a few Accenture IT courses done. I also have an investigative
Psychology forensics course done (Met police & Open university) I am fully
aware of the basics. I am also a journalist and therapist.I am just trying
to make an important point here.I do not use public wifi . I do not use
wifi at work either.I do not use WiFi calling.I am a quite reserved person
who uses the Internet discreetly. I strongly believe someone has been
stalking me online.I do not have friends from Ukraine . Here's the
Ukranian number my VPN detected : +380956293697.
I also strongly believe this is a group of hackers who are acting in the UK
also in Europe etc to steal people's identity digitally. Thousands could be
well affected. Please make this conversation private on the community group
for obvious reasons. Thanks. I am heading to work. Will be unavailable to
chat for few hours.
