Message scam about rewards points from EE

Hi is anyone else getting messages supposed to be from EE  saying they've got thousands of rewards points that's going to be  lost in 2 days if they dont  click on the link to spend them?

I'm glad to hear that you didn't fall for a scam. If you forward the message to 7726, a security team will look into it.

Hi, unfortunately I got this message and clicked on the link and put my phone number in! As I was scrolling I realised it could be  scam and went to check! I guess they already knew my phone number as they sent me a text. What should I do?

I wouldn't worry as you haven't put any bank details or any other relevant details in.

This scam has been doing the rounds for a long time now I've had a couple of messages myself and have posted on here about it unfortunately with things such as this you have to be vigilant as they come in all sorts of different ways especially with technology as it is.
