I have just received the text on x2 devices, NO UPGRADES, NO UPDATES WITHIN THE PAST 7 DAYS, 1 device had the message 3 days ago, the other device today, I think it's just unfortunate timing they got the messages at that time

Had same text and luckily my bank stopped my card to avoid scam. Why are these people allowed to scam people

I had this!! I also paid the 1p for the item and had over 5000 points!

I got one this morning

I got that message too and i am starting to wander if ee cant be trusted

They are vermin, absolute filth and what's really annoying is when they get
caught they get a fine or a short sentence. As long as that carries on
it'll never change coz obviously they have nothing to fear stay safe 👍
Absolute scumbags and as long as they get light fines or short stints in
prison then obviously it's going to carry on. We need a proper gov and
police force coz these morons running the country are absolutely useless.
Stay safe 👍

I also received a text today about an EE reward programme.  Have blocked the number and reported it as a scam.

I got this message last night, unfortunately fell for it because I have a reward with my contract and get apple music. Realised straight away something wasn't right cancelled my bank card straight away, transferred all my money into my savings account. Reported the number to 7726. Was abit concerned today so called the bank they informed me that someone had tried to book tickets in Barcelona today for £160 and the transaction was attempted from Canada but obviously didnt go through because my bank card was cancelled. Normally I'm really well aware of scams but this caught me off guard and I'm so glad I realised and cancelled my bank card within minutes after falling for it.
