why cant we have more than 1 consenting adult, joint householder or carer being the authenticator? what happens when the person is in hospital, or working or, as in DISABLED (hence carer), not able to reply directly?

I'd like to add my partner's number as we both share the bills, or alternatively, to remove 2 factor authentication. Is this possible?

Hi @seftonr2
Welcome to the community!
You can only have one number assigned for this, but if you'd like to update your details, please get in touch so our team can help further.

i don't understand why only a single number is possible. Banks, building society, credit cards all allow for more than a single phone contact, such as an alternative email, use of a pin machine, or having 2 telephone numbers. why is EE so much more critical than online banking? It's so wrong. I could authorise a million pound transfer (if I had it!!) using those identified above, but I can't even log into the EE community without a hyper-critical, inappropriate MFD limitation. it's wrong on so many levels. If I could get out of the contract, I would.
If I did not need to do it so often, it would not be so bad, but I have to log into EE every time i come home. As soon as i am out of range of my home, I need to re-log in. it's wrong.
re-log-on to change parental controls to hold off the internet while homework is done, or re-enable it when it's done on time !! RIDICULOUS.
