Full fibre and TP Link Deco

I am thinking of ordering EE full fibre to replace my Starlink setup. I have a TP Link Deco mesh system which I want to keep, and currently use the Starlink Router in pass through mode. I think I can do away with the EE router entirely and plug the Deco's WAN port directly into the ONT when it is fitted. So two questions, is that correct and does the connection use PPPoE or DHCP? If PPPoE, I guess I will need the login credentials (username/password) from EE  to enter into my Deco's WAN settings, since the Deco takes over the authentication that the hub would normally do. If DHCP, it just works with no credentials needed, right?

@Juddy-UTV Are you using a DV Digital Voice landline to be supplied by EE? If not then it's a PPPoE connection and see the link provided. No pass through on the latest EE routers.

Sorry, should have said: no, I will not been needing a landline. My order will be fibre broadband only.

@Juddy-UTV Then you are PPPoE connected to the ONT, for DHCP you would need to be with someone like Sky as your ISP.

Your EE supplied hub is your backup device when requested to be put on the connection as that is all EE can look at, suggest you have it on, fully working and then back in it's box until times you need something checked EE wise.

I take it EE are happy to share the PPPoE login details with customers? Not sure if they are account specific or a generic set of details?

@Juddy-UTV They were linked at the start of the thread for you did you not see that link? You will be using the FTTP version to set your Deco up.

EE's BB PPPoE creds. are generic & are now the same as BT's.
