Resolved! Porting length

Hi all,I've just moved to EE and inserted my new SIM.  Had all the usual texts come through but it also says they will transfer my new number by 6pm 06/05.  This seems a long time.  Is this just a generic date or could it really take that long?

SIM not working

I got a new SIM card for my phone as my contract had run out but I wasn’t the one paying for it. My old one was an eSIM. It’s reading the SIM but it’s not connecting to the network so I can’t use my data.

I ported my number over and it’s all been done but now I can’t make any calls.the iPhone originally had a eSIM and my old number was down as the secondary , this now won’t work it has no signal. Please can someone help I need this for work
