Having exactly this issue - lost my sim card; got a replacement sent which impressively arrived in 24 hours but popped it into my phone and it isn't working.         Then get stuck in the Phone loop from hell trying to get through to anyone.

I’ve brought a new sim for an iPhone I’ve brought from a shop but the SIM card isn’t working there’s no ee in the corner nothing
