Resolved! New sim - porting number

HiIve signed up for a sim only deal today and the email says my number will be ported over in 24 hours. What if the new sim hasn’t arrived by tomorrow and I’m left without a working phone? is it really 24 hours from placing an order?

Resolved! Network change retaining old no.

I received my SIM Friday but the retention of no. from previous network has not yet happened. PAC details  from previous network was obtained uring my original call about changing networks. When will this change happen?
