SIM cards & Porting

I require a 9 digit PUK code for a new account but....

My old/ soon to go out of contract sim I use In my car system is being replaced with a different sim from SKY (sorry) I need a 9 digit PUK code but EE only provide 8 any ideas? Do I add a “0” in front or?look forward to some ideas.  Thanks
