I changed to you recently and wanted to keep my old number which you did change for me but people are getting texts from me with the original sim number and so they don't no who sent the textswhy is this happening

Hello, I am planning to come to EE now as my old contract with Vodafone is finishing in few months. If I get a new contract with EE now, will I be able to get my old number from Vodafone in few month time when my Vodafone contract expires?
