I have a new SIM card which I’ve had in phone now for a month. (Samsung J2] I had to Change fm Plusnet who were closing down mobile services and they suggested EE. I had no probs with Plusnet SIM at all.
As i dont make many calls and have been able to send and receive messages, Whatsapp Etc I wasn’t concerned. However today I needed to call doctors and my phone says ‘emergency calls only, no Sim’. I’ve Done all the things advised.taken out Sim put back in Etc, nothing!. I'm elderly and a bit hard of hearing also not great with tech. But can’t get help from EE online. Can’t call them Or message as phone won’t let me make calls as it comes up saying ‘Not registered on Network’. any help or advice welcome. Tx
P.s. I have BT WiFi and that is switched on on phone.

Good morning @Gill93.
Welcome to the EE Community.
Have you ever been able to receive calls?
Did you port your number over from EE?
Are you pay as you go or pay monthly?
Speak soon,
Katie

many calls a Im Partly deaf and do more texting. But I get text messages
fine. Even EE who texted me to inform me they're taking next months payment
via DD. I can use WhatsApp too etc.,and Facebook. It’s just calls.
I used the code number given by Plusnet (sorry forget term) to transfer fm
them to EE.
And I’m SIM only,,ie pay monthly by DD

Thanks for getting back to us, all the information provided is super helpful @Gill93.
This could be a problem with your number port from PlusNet to EE, I'd recommend getting in touch with technical care who can help further.
You can call using the Relay UK Service by putting 18001 before this number 07953 966 150.

Yes I realise that now. So,I have done that. but I’m no further ahead. I’ve already pointed out when I try to make a call I get Not registered on network. So I cannot make a call. Nor send a message even.
