Hi
Ive recently been ported from 02 to EE. The only thing that seems not to be working is SMS. My data , imessages are working and when I first put the new sim in today I received a bunch of sms messages from EE but nothing since.
None of my verifications messages or passcodes are coming through.
Could you please look into this.
Steven

Ive switched off and removed my sim multiples times.

If you've only put the SIM in for the very first time today, it is unlikely the number has ported. It usually ports next working day after submitting your PAC code and inserting the SIM to activate it on the network.
Have you tried calling your number from another phone to check whether calls are coming through? (Preferably not an iPhone as these may use Facetime Audio in some cases) or try and call someone else from your EE SIM to see which number shows up.

Thanks Matt. I just got back from work and put the new sim in. It arrived today. I haven't tried to make a call or receive one. I'll try in the morning. I'm sure too it's the porting. I'll see in the morning if anything has changed and post feedback.
Thanks for your response

No worries,
When you ordered the SIM did you submit your O2 PAC code as part of the process? Not sure how you ordered it, whether it was online or over the phone etc.

When you first insert your EE SIM and connect it to the network, your PAC is submitted.
Assuming that is before approx 5pm on a working weekday, your port-in will then complete the following working day. If it is after approx 5pm or on a weekend, add an extra working day to the timescales.
Apple's proprietry iMessage & Facetime are just internet-based services and thus EE have no control over them.

Just to update,
Unfortunately, my text messages are still not coming through.

Hi @SteveMonkey
Have you received anything to confirm that the number has successfully ported over?
Are you able to make and receive calls and send text messages showing the correct number?
Michael
