Can I change my sim card mobile number to a different mobile number I am on pay as you go contract and it doesn't end until next February and my daughter broke her phone. So my son has an ee mobile number I am wondering if I can change her sim card mobile number to my sons mobile number so my son gets to keep his mobile number and the benefits of his sisters contract otherwise I will be paying for a sim card that is not being used

@Meljel0 : Your son needs to call CS with both of them available on the line to effect a change of ownership. If they can't do it together CS will give the current owner a password for the other to quote when they call.

To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone

ISPs: 1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up > 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB > 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB > 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU > 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU > 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC > 2014: EE 20 Meg WBC > 2020: EE 40 Meg FTTC > 2022:EE 80 Meg FTTC SoGEA > 2025 EE 150 Meg FTTP

I am the owner of the sim cards it's all on account I have myself and my 2
daughters on my account plus they are only 11 years old and 13 years old.
Does this make a difference.

Ah, yes! You own all the nos. So there is no change of ownership involved but you want to change your daughter's no. to that of your son's.

However EE won't port nos. between its contracts. So you need to 1st port your son's no. to another network's PAYG using a PAC from EE & then in reverse port it back to your daughter's contract. This will also have the effect of cancelling your son's contract.

Aw I am so sorry I don't understand what you mean by PAC etc 🙈 I'm still
in the 80s lol my kids are the ones who told me to call up and ask but
because it was late they were closed.
It's fine I will call up tomorrow morning.
And at least I know now there is a way of doing this which I would like to
say thank you so much for helping me with my issue. I really appreciate
your support and help.
Thank you

PAC = Porting Authorisation Code for when you transfer mobile nos. between networks - see What is a PAC code? (ignoring the "Code code" 😉).
