My wife's phone and sim is on my ac**bleep**. I am currently in Brazil. As I am the account holder , the shop she popped into in order to resolve the issue would not help. I have tried the contact number within the EE app , but i cant get through to EE.

Is your wife an authorised third party on your EE account? If not, then she rightly needs to be given access to perform certain functions.
You can give her this access by calling CS on +44 7953 966150
