My partners BT phone contract was moved to join onto my EE account this week, and I was told that nothing would be needed in terms of a PAC code - simply change over the sim when it arrives and her number will move over - all done their end apparently.
We did this yesterday however the new number the sim comes with is still active on the phone today with her old BT number not working.
This is a massive pain as the phone is needed for work and I'm sick of constantly phoning EE/BT about different issues. Any advice?

We had exactly the same on our 2 SIM only deals after we transferred. I was getting calls from the NHS chasing some poor soul who'd had the number before! As we had a myriad other issues, and I was sick of ringing 150, I raised a CEO complaint.
Finally a tech on the Mobile side got involved and did something/got us to check some settings (iPhones) and that fixed it.
Does your partner have an iPhone?

Good afternoon @markwbowen.
Welcome to the EE Community!
With switches between BT and EE this does still use a PAC, but often it will be set up automatically in the system when you switch.
Once the new EE SIM first connects to the network, the port will be brought forward to the next available date.
We do recommend on the transfer date it can take up until midnight for this to fully complete, and if the BT SIM has stopped working this would suggest things are moving in the right direction.
So we can be 100% sure, though, I'd definitely recommend reaching out to our customer care team, and they can check the status of the port at our end.
