I contacted EE with this problem on 27/04/25. The complaint is closed. I was told there is an issue and EE are trying to fix it. Told to keep turning phone off and on again which I’ve done several times, still no joy. Used my wife’s phone to call them, she’s on ID mobile. I may join her.

Hi there I am living in Portugal and I have had no coverage from EE for 3 days now I just got a call from EE they say it should be sorted by 7pm tonight

 

20:45 still getting “Call Failed”

Your posts have been moved into a new thread, so it's not entirely clear what exactly your specific symptoms are. Can you clarify?

That said - try a manual network selection as well as toggling flight mode. Make sure all of the local networks are doing the same.

Outgoing calls result in “Call Failure”, this was reported to EE on Sunday. I can receive calls, Wi-Fi and data OK. EE said known issue, try to turn off phone, turn on and try again. Received message from forum that it would be fixed by 19:00 Wednesday. Still not working this morning. Tried Network Selection auto off

Does anyone believe that EE don’t have a solution for this after all this time, are they even investigating it?

It's quite common for issues such as this, to lie with third parties. EE don't control the entire call-flow from end-end and the direct investigation may well lie outside their direct control.
