On 3 January I contacted EE and spoke to agent Clare. I said that my wife and I would be using pour mobiles (both managed by a single EE account) in both France and Spain for the next 6 weeks. She confirmed that she had set us both up for Roaming25. SInce then I have checked my account multiple times and cannot find any reference to this plan. Upon arrival in each of France and Spain we received text messages about £2.47 charge per day. We have recently also received SpendCap warnings. Please advise.

The "Roaming25" would presumably be the Roam Abroad Pass for £25 / month.
You may use your usual UK allowances in the EU with up to 50 GB (contract) or 25 GB (PAYG) data per billing month if you have more. If on contract & your contract started after 07/07/2021 there'll be a £2.47 / day charge for using your UK allowances in EU unless you have the Roam Abroad Pass for £25 / month or already have it as an Inclusive Extra.
As you are on contract, just remember to text ROAMING to 150 before you leave UK to ensure the roaming ability is enabled on your account.
