Hi!
If I have roaming activated while I am in Bangladesh, will I be able to receive phone calls and texts from the UK? Will the person calling have to pay extra charges to call me? Will I also be able to receive pass codes on my UK SIM? Will all actions on my SIM be the same as if I were in the UK?
Thanks

Yes, as long as you are able to pay for the received calls. A person calling your UK no. from the UK will not have to pay any extra. It is you that is roaming, not they.
How do you think you have activated roaming?
If you are on contract, just remember to text ROAMING to 150 before leaving UK to ensure the roaming ability is enabled on your no.
If you are on PAYG, just make sure you had already used your PAYG SIM to make a call or text in the UK.

It is crucial that you don't wait until you're abroad before enabling roaming. It is the free roaming facility that enables access to foreign networks and thus having coverage abroad.
If you travel without roaming activated, you won't get coverage abroad. Without having coverage, you can't make or receive calls, send & receive texts or use mobile data.... catch 22 for trying to resolve it.
Pay-monthly customers can use another phone to call CS to activate roaming whilst already abroad. PAYG users have no such option.
