Hi... I'm current in Thailand with a PAYG Sim which was activated in the UK. Is there anything I need to do to receive txt messages while on holiday or will I automatically receive messages sent to my number. Currently I have not received anything

My grandparents have had an old iPhone and need it just for emergencies. Do you offer SIM cards where you top up an amount and that stays on the sim card until it’s used not having to renew every month?
