EE sim card for tp-link 4g LTE

I have just purchased a £10 EE top up voucher for a TP link 4t LTE mobile WIFI. I inserted sim into the device but .it's not giving me access to the internet. What step have I omitted to do. I am currently with Virgin media.

PAYG pack won't start
