Hi,
I'm currently staying in France and I have been unable to make any calls. This includes EE support numbers. I've do some research online, and tried the possible solutions with no luck. Any help will be great.

Do you have a pay as you go or pay monthly account?
What happens when you try and make a call?
Can you send texts?

Did you use that PAYG SIM for making calls or texts in UK before you left to go abroad? EE PAYG SIMs need 1st activating on EE's home UK network before they can be used abroad. If it wasn't you can't now use it until you return to UK.

I have a pay as you go account. I have had no issue with data usage either. When I make a call, I don't hear a ring at all, and it make a noise and says that their is no mobile network. I don't know if I can sent texts as I mainly use Whatsapp.

Yes, I had used the SIM for a couple of months in the UK before leaving for France.

Are you connected to a French network, @mako510?
Could you try doing a manual search and connecting to each available network?

I am able to send text messages. I'm just not able to make any phone calls.

Can you try and connect to a different available network in France, does this work for you?

I am able to connect for a moment to the other networks available, but it says network is unavailable moments later. And when I try to call, I would lose the bars and the name of the network.
