@smanthc : Sounds like your PAYG SIM has gone into hibernation.

When did you last use it for a chargeable action? EE PAYG SIMs are deactivated after 6 months of non-use. You then have a further 3 months to call EE to reactivate it before it is lost completely.

You needed to make a chargeable action like making a chargeable call or text, topping up or buying a Pack or Add-on, not just using your mins, texts or data from your pack.

Sorry but this is not completely clear to understand and I've read it a few times now.

In your first paragraph you state 'EE PAYG SIMs are deactivated after 6 months of non-use'' - 'non-use' being the 2 words that I'm calling attention to here because in your next paragraph you state that using your minutes, text or data from your pack would not qualify.  'Non-use' needs to be changed or removed. I'm not sure which because I don't understand what is trying to be conveyed.

Can someone please re-type this and make it clearer to understand.

@BubZ1 : The non-use mentioned in the 2nd sentence of 2nd para is referring to non-use of any chargeable actions which is introduced in the 1st sentence of that para & further defined fully in the 3rd. para.

I'm not trying to write a legal doc. here but just a chatty explanation of EE's hibernation policy.

If you like, replace the "non-use" you are querying by "non-chargeable use".
