@Dennen   Are you on contract or PAYG with that device?   If on contract and you are abroad you need to enable roaming on your EE account.   If you’re on PAYG you’ll need to purchase a roaming add on in order to use that data on PAYG.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Do you have an active PAYG pack or is the data you bought just an add-on?

For PAYG there are now roaming charges for using your pack allowances in the EU of either £2.50 / day, by texting ROAMEU1D to 150, or £10 / week, by texting ROAMEU7D to 150, to be taken only from your PAYG credit, not your recurring card payment. If you opt to text neither or you don't have an active pack, you will be paying standard rates for calls & texts & need to buy a small add-on for data.
