Hello, I bought an 8GB SIM card plus 500 minutes and unlimited texts. So there's no subscription, no out-of-bundle charges or other fees?
Solved! See the answer below or view the solution in context.

Roaming in the RoI is free, so you wouldn't need to have any credit while there. It's almost the same as being in UK.
Furthermore you'll be able to call EU nos. for free which you can't do in UK.
To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone
ISPs: 1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up > 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB > 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB > 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU > 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU > 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC > 2014: EE 20 Meg WBC > 2020: EE 40 Meg FTTC > 2022:EE 80 Meg FTTC SoGEA > 2025 EE 150 Meg FTTP

Thanks but I paid £10, the first month everything is free except outside the UK? Why if I have enough credit for the UK?

- "I can't call Europe from the UK?" Not for free. I told in my 1st post that calling non-UK nos. from UK is chargeable.
- "Do I have to be in Europe to call Europe?". Yes, if you want the call to be free, but in the EU other than the RoI you will be paying roaming charges to be able to do so.
- @Schockwave was wrong in saying that you need to make sure that you have enough credit to use your phone in Southern Ireland.
As you keep getting told you are overcomplicating this & making a mountain out of a molehill. That being so I'm no longer inclined to add anything to what you've already been told.

Mercic: Are calls, texts, etc. in the UK free? Outside the UK, they're paid. To summarize. Is that it? Finally, why do adult sites work with Wi-Fi?

Hi @To23.
Calls and texts will not be chargeable as long as you have a pack in place.
This is for calls and texts to other UK numbers.
Texts and calls are free to receive.
What happens when you try to access adult websites using mobile data?

They work over Wi-Fi as the content lock is only applicable on network traffic through the mobile network.

Thanks
It says to deposit £10. I just bought the SIM and I use it without even £10 in the app and it works. Why put 10 or more?

What is it you're trying to do when you're being asked for £10 @To23?
