Did you mean:

Roaming in the EU does not work with pay as you go packs.

Hi.

I have a pay as you go sim with a £15 pack that automatically renew every month. I am confused how to turn on roaming. The help page about roaming in the EU says when I arrive to an EU country I SHOULD receive a text message and I SHOULD reply to this text message and choose if I want to pay £2.50 daily or £10 for 7 days.

Yesterday I have arrived to the EU and I received a text message saying this

Great news, if you have a pack, Free Boost or add-on, you can now use your allowances at no extra cost.

I have a £15 pack and I also got 3GB free boost but roaming does not work. I did not received any text message asking me to choose £2.50 or £10.

I have also registered in the MyEE App, I go to the app and it say I should get this text message asking me to choose but I am not getting this text message to choose.

I sent ROAMING PASS to 150 and the only reply I get is to choose daily £2.50 or £10 for 7 days I have to have a subscription which I have, I have monthly subscription for a £15 pack but I do not get the option to choose.

My £15 pay as you go pack does not work in the EU.

Could anyone offer me some help how to activate the roaming so I can use my £15 pack and data in the EU?

Thanks.

Okay. I have returned from the EU and this service was completely broken.

I didn't get any option to pay £10 so I can use my £15 pack.

This is what I received instead:

This service is obviously broken. This message makes literally no sense.  A friend of mine complained about it 4 months ago and I can see on Reddit people complained about it 8 months ago. EE didn't do anything and many switched to different networks. I am about to do the same.

Dear EE, big mighty EE, how does it feel like the mobile network of a grocery store works in the EU but EE does not????

Total joke.

Welcome to the EE Community, @Kekipen 🙂

What is the full response you received when you sent ROAMING PASS to 150?

The ROAMING PASS is not available for PAYG; only contract.

Hi @Kekipen

Welcome to the community.

I'm sorry to hear that you didn't get the text message mentioned earlier on the thread. Whereabouts were you? Was your £15 pack active before you left the UK?

Chris
