Hi,
I was on pay as you go and travelling abroad for some months so I wasn't able to use my number. I received a message saying my number was going to be disconnected and now I can't send/receive messages or contact EE to reconnect my mobile number.
What do I do? How can I reconnect my mobile number!?

When a PayG SIM hasn't been used your phone for any chargeable activity for 179 days then the account will go into hibernation and any credit will be removed.
After a further 90 days the service will be permanently cancelled and cannot be reactivated.
You can find out more on our Pay as you Go hibernation page
If you're still within the 90 days hibernation stage, please call Customer Service where a guide will be able to check, and if possible reconnect your number.

By calling from any working phone, or potentially a web-calling app using WiFi.
+44 7953 966150 is not restricted to EE phones, or mobiles. +44 800 9566000 should work from Skype, until that's withdrawn in favour of Teams.
