I was on a sim only deal but changed to pay as you go as I have gone travelling. I spoke to a CS operator and sorted all this just before I left. He informed me that I may need to turn my sim on every once in a while (I think he mentioned 3 monts but i can't remember) to make sure my plan doesn't get cancelled for being inactive. I have been away for 7 weeks and just gone on to check myEE and my account have been deactived. I can't contact you by email because you don't have one (pathetic for the so called nations biggest and fastest network). Your app is awful and sending me round in circles looking for the live chat that you claim to be there that doesn't exist. I can't call the abroad CS number because my sim is cancelled so please tell me what I can do to reinstate/activate my sim as I can't afford to loose this number and have been with EE/orange for 9+ years.

Exactly the same thing has happened to me. I was told I would be transferred to PAYG but now in the EE app it says my account is closed.
