I was on a sim only deal but changed to pay as you go as I have gone travelling. I spoke to a CS operator and sorted all this just before I left. He informed me that I may need to turn my sim on every once in a while (I think he mentioned 3 monts but i can't remember) to make sure my plan doesn't get cancelled for being inactive. I have been away for 7 weeks and just gone on to check myEE and my account have been deactived. I can't contact you by email because you don't have one (pathetic for the so called nations biggest and fastest network). Your app is awful and sending me round in circles looking for the live chat that you claim to be there that doesn't exist. I can't call the abroad CS number because my sim is cancelled so please tell me what I can do to reinstate/activate my sim as I can't afford to loose this number and have been with EE/orange for 9+ years.

  1. You need to call CS to delete your old contract MyEE a/c & then you can set up your new PAYG MyEE a/c afresh, using the same mobile no. & email addy if desired. You can't mix them under MyEE.
  2. When was your SIM moved to PAYG? It takes 30 days notice to cancel a contract & before it is moved to PAYG. Had that change taken place while abroad you can't now use it at all while abroad. To be used abroad EE PAYG SIMs need 1st activating on EE's home UK network. If it wasn't you can't now use it until you return to UK.

Exactly the same thing has happened to me. I was told I would be transferred to PAYG but now in the EE app it says my account is closed.

EE please help.
