PAYG Data Sim for Ipad Mini not working

Hi

 

I have a new Ipad mini 6th generation. I bought an EE data sim and I have tried everything but am unable to make it work. Any help would be appreciated.

Where did you buy the SIM & how much did you pay for it?

What does texting AL to 150 from it fully report verbatim (it is free)?

Do I have to put Sim in phone to Text AL ?

It says nil balance . Must have bought a dud sim I suppose

Does the reply show you have a data allowance to use?

I paid about £20 for 6GB over 90 days.

It just says my balance is £0

When I put Sim into iPhone I get no service
