I have recently been disconnected from receiving messages on my EE pay as you go number from abroad.

I need the texts for verifications - I found out that it was because I hadn't topped up since around May/June 2023. I just topped up but nothing has changed. My online profile says active, the number is still there. I received nothing about being disconected.

I need the number for verification codes.

Is there's a way I can get this working or use this number as soon as possible?

Assistance would be appreciated,

Thank you

Very likely like you've lost your your PAYG SIM & no. for good if you haven't used it for over 10 months.

When did you previously use it for a chargeable action? EE PAYG SIMs are deactivated after 6 months of non-chargeable use. You then have a further 3 months to call EE to reactivate it before it is lost completely.

You needed to make a chargeable action like making a chargeable call or text, topping up or buying a Pack or Add-on, not just using your mins, texts or data from your pack.
