Disconnected from receiving messages from abroad. Just topped up but still not r

I have recently been disconnected from receiving messages on my EE pay as you go number from abroad. 

I need the texts for verifications - I found out that it was because I hadn't topped up since around May/June 2023. I just topped up but nothing has changed. My online profile says active, the number is still there. I received nothing about being disconected. 

I need the number for verification codes. 

Is there's a way I can get this working or use this number as soon as possible?

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Very likely like you've lost your your PAYG SIM & no. for good if you haven't used it for over 10 months.

When did you previously use it for a chargeable action? EE PAYG SIMs are deactivated after 6 months of non-chargeable use. You then have a further 3 months to call EE to reactivate it before it is lost completely.

You needed to make a chargeable action like making a chargeable call or text, topping up or buying a Pack or Add-on, not just using your mins, texts or data from your pack.
